Sewage & Drainage FAQs

How do I know if my sewage line needs repair?

Warning signs include slow drains throughout the property (not just one fixture), sewage odours inside or outside, damp patches in the garden, or previous blockages in the main line. A CCTV inspection will confirm the condition.

What is a French drain and do I need one?

A French drain is a perforated pipe surrounded by gravel that channels groundwater away from an area. You may need one if your garden floods, your basement takes on water, or you have persistent damp foundations.

Do you handle both residential and commercial sewage systems?

Yes. We work on individual homes, apartment blocks, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities. Larger projects include detailed design drawings and compliance documentation.

What is trenchless sewer repair?

Trenchless relining involves inserting a resin-coated sleeve inside the existing pipe which hardens to form a new pipe within the old one — no trenching required in most cases, preserving your garden and driveway.

Can tree roots really damage sewer lines?

Yes — tree root intrusion is one of the most common causes of sewer blockages and pipe damage. Roots seek out moisture and can infiltrate hairline cracks, eventually filling and rupturing the pipe. Early CCTV inspection can identify this before it becomes a major problem.
